Hi everyone,
Mike Roe (Lost Dogs/77s) and
Michael Pritzl (the violet burning/the gravity show)

After such a wonderful response last year, the two have decided on a second tour together.

Roe, Pritzl get their acts together one more time

Two singer-songwriters with the same first name but with very distinct
styles come together for one seated show Thursday at the WOW Hall.
For those who are fans of both Michael Roe and Michael Pritzl, it doesn't get much better than this one.
The musical union is known affectionately as "Roe vs. Pritzl,"
and this is Round 2, because they will appear on stage at the same
time. There won't really be a duel, however, just a duo performance.
In 2005, they joined forces and toured. But for each man, the
arrangement remains a side project, and therefore it's a rare thing to
see them together like this, a news release says.
Roe works mainly with the 77s and Lost Dogs, and Pritzl plays
with Violet Burning and the Gravity Show. Between the two of them, they
have 40-plus years of experience with their bands and side projects,
the release says.
While Roe is bluesy and introspective,
Pritzl has more of a punk and rock influence, although he also cites
mellower material such as the Cure and Leonard Cohen as influences.
Logan Martin, a talented singer-songwriter from Salem, will
start things up at 8 p.m. Martin previously has opened for Shawn
McDonald, Warren Barfield and Paul Wright.
Tickets are $15 or $10 with a student ID; children 5 and younger get in free. The WOW Hall is at 291 W. Eighth Ave.
