Sevens fans - would you see Violet Burning in St. Louis? |
|
I'm on the verge of booking The Violet Burning to play a show at my church in Alton, IL (nice facility), which is just across the river from St. Louis, MO.
In light of the fact that Mike and Mike are touring together, I figured this was somewhat on-topic, so I was wondering who in the STL metro area would be interested in see The Violet Burning perform live? Yes, there would be another act headlining; TVB would be the opening act.
Also, how much would you pay for a ticket, assuming there would be no cheesy "love offering" taken?
Let me know. Thanks.

If it was a weekend show, I might make the trip from Springfield, MO. We came up for the Mike/Mark show on the FWS tour.

Yeah, it would be on Thursday, March 23rd, not a weekend date. Sorry.

I know people in St. Louis that might be interested....but at the same time I doubt they would go if they were only the opener. (And if they are the opener for KMAX,
then I can guarantee they wouldn't go.)

I would go and then leave when Kmax started. I would hope though that they would be touring with John Davis.

Yes, they are touring with Davis, not Kmax.
Although, I have to say I like Max's music -- which surprised me. I wouldn't mind seeing him live.

I'm supposed to get final word sometime today or tomorrow on whether or not it will be happening.
However, I found out that The Choir is playing a show near St. Louis, in Roxana, IL, on Friday, March 24th! I'll post details soon on exactly where it is, what time, ticket prices, etc.

Sweet I bet its at the Nazarene Community Center that had the Mike/Mark show and Lost Dogs.
Man I think I'll be at both of those shows.

As it turns out, no, my church won't be hosting TVB with John Davis. It's kind of cool that they'll still be coming through the STL area, though.
The Choir still playing at the Roxana Community Center on March 24th, though. Tickets are $8.00 through iTickets.com, or $10 at the door. Show starts at 8 p.m., no opening acts.
