I thought, in light of off-topic discussion, it might be good to talk about the 77's.
I've always loved these words from A Different Kind of Light, they were fun, intelligent and thought provoking. Anyone else enjoy these ones particularly?
I heard about the light of progress I could never see that far
Couldn't find the light of success must've had a change of address
I don't care what the people say there's got to be a better way
Don't want the usual merchandise recycled in a new disguise
I took a shot at meditation I tried it like the old book said
All I got was more frustration must've had the wrong translation
They talk about the light inside you I hope I never get that blind
I don't want to take my chances on joining the collective unconscious

Ron,
It's funny that you posted this. I had similar thoughts, yesterday, but instead of posting it, I popped the 77's playlist into rotation, beginning with this song.
This song will always be "special" to me, since it was the very first 77s song I ever heard. I had bought PPOTA on the recommendation of a church camp buddy. Just about wore out the LP.
I have always appreciated the lyrics in this song, too.
