The way the Doc was singing it reminded me a bit of of Roy, so I guess that's why I was thinking that? I don't know...didn't seem far-fetched to me at the time I was typing it, which was at 1 am or so.

Either way it's a beautifully, gorgeous song melodically, but the words are very sad. I remember playing it once a long time ago and one of my youngest daughters started crying and said the song was making her sad. I used to play it often because it was so pretty, but now I make sure to fast forward past it if she's with me.
