Just discovered 77's
My uncle Ken just told me someone he works with is in a band called 77's. I wanted to make sure this is the band he was talking about. He works for HP in Sacramento. My uncle and aunt stopped by a show my band was doing at a local mall, and that is when he told me about 77's. Their music is awesome!! Even if this is not the band he was referring to, I am really glad I discovered them! Is this band from the Sacramento area, and is one of the members connected with HP?
Thanks,
Mike Couts

At last I knew, the bassist Mark Harmon had a position with hp. Someone more knowledgable than myself may correct me.

I suppose I should feel a little better about my own HP, then....
So, you own any of their stuff yet? We'll be glad to steer to you to every one of their 20 or so band and solo releases....

nope, never heard of them before today.... Steer away !

Rather than make it easy for you and just tell you to buy the funky crow thang*, it'd probably be easier -- and fairer -- to steer you to a conversation at.... um... .the OTHER 77s board....
You think THESE guys have a history, you ain't see NOTHIN'.... welcome to Oz....

A Golden Field of Radioactive Crows, for the uninitiated -- their last full-length band CD thus far (and their best, IMHO)
Oh.... and having visited yr site: DO stay out of lightning storms while playing yr guitar. That could hurt.

It only hurts for a minute, but it produces a really cool flange!
Thanks for the info.

It makes your information more recent, as well as first-hand. I'm glad you had that opportunity! It sounds like that was a great show.
