  Still paid up?

I signed up for the 77s fan club right away and got the first disc. About a year later Rosebuds became avaiable so I signed up for that two. Since there was a bit of question at the time whether the 77s Fan Club was good for "1 year" or good for "two CDs" I went ahead and signed up again. They later decided to make it good for "two CD's". Just wondering if anyone else threw their money in already...and wondering if this will continue over to a "revamped" fan club.

Yeah, anyone that signed up again will get "something." If
someone would like to use it as "credit" in the store, they
can always do that. Otherwise, we'll either carry it over to
the new version of the clubs (if it happens) or we'll come up
with something special and unique to send those folks.

How about when fan club members purchase a cd from the store they also get to download the cd in mp3 format as soon as the cd is bought?

Interesting Idea, we can look into it. We are somewhat
limited by the format the online credit transaction people
require. We are limited on how we can set up certain things
for order and how the information is retrievable from their
database.

Basically, with fan clubs and preorders we have to manually keep
track of who ordered and when and create our own email lists
and things. Which all takes time. If we can get the Credit transaction
people to allow us to export the order info into an excel file
where we could sort by just fan club orders or whatever
then this kind of thing would be 100 times easier.

Thats also another issue with how we were going to set
up te fan clubs where the other guys.. would handle some of it
which would help a ton..but we need to find a way where
we don't have to manually create and maintain the list of
members and then send it off to someone else to manually
maintain again. Then we are just ading a step and still having
to do the time consuming stuff ourselves anyway.

Keep the suggestions coming, we will work towards getting the
technical details arranged on our end where things are done
smoother. Then all these ideas and suggestions might combine
into something we can actually do.

Especially now, since we have got a lot of other issues pretty
much ironed out now.
