A contemporary Christian music "supergroup" of the 1990s, the Lost Dogs, will perform in downtown Lancaster in early August.
The group, known for such hits as "Pray Where You Are," and called "a Christian contemporary music equivalent to the Traveling Wilburys," will perform Sunday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. in the Community Room on Prince, 19 N. Prince St., above the Prince Street Cafe.
The Lost Dogs formed in 1991, comprising vocalists, songwriters, and guitarists from multiple Christian alternative rock bands.
Their current lineup includes Terry Scott Taylor, Michael Roe (of the group The 77s, who played at the same venue earlier this year), Derri Daugherty and Steve Hindalong, of The Choir.
The Lost Dogs have recorded or performed songs ranging from the Beatles' "I'm A Loser" to Bob Dylan's "Lord, Protect My Child" and "Dust On The Bible" by Hank Williams Sr.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Call Jeff McLain at 892-8239 for tickets or details, or visit
