  All Fall Down (123)

Anyone else have this problem?

Copy my 123 set into my media player and all the song tags aren't where they belong. I had to manually go in and name the songs correctly, all the song names were in there but assigned to the wrong songs. You think this had something to do with the manufactures encoding process?

no. it has to do with the online service that your media player extracts that info from.

someone, at some point, entered it wrong.

What song number is Ba Ba Ba Ba Alex? Because if memory serves, when the cd got pressed they actually (unintentionally) switched the order of the songs, even though the song listing on the sleeve shows them in their proper order.

It's Track 6 on my media player but the CD and insert say it should be Track 1 Confused

Haven't had that problem. iTunes sometimes brings up a screen with several different album names (or variations of one album) and I can choose which one. That's the only odd thing I have come across.

I had the same problem when my boxset arrived. Took a little while to fix the problem, but that's life.

gonna sound like an idiot, but is that boxed set hard to find? All of my 77's CD's ( as Well as Adam Again, Steven Curtis Chapman, petra) CDs were stolen when I was in college, and I'm planning on refilling my stock in the near future. The only 77s CD that wasnt stolen was 88, It was in my cd changer in my dorm, so was Little red riding hood..

I shoulod have replaced the stuff right when it happened, but I was "going through a phase" and didnt bother. Yes it stinks, but it's my fault.

Actually, I thought the story was the original records were made with different track listings than the 77s wanted. The song order was corrected for the CDs,. However, the artwork is the same as the original art, so it shows the original, incorrect, song list.

So if you want to listen to the songs in the order the 77s intended them to be listened to, then you'll listen to them based on the actual order on the CD.

That's my understanding. What I did with my CDs is I printed the correct tracklisting and slipped them in the back of the jewel case.

Altogether possible. I just know that I always personally thought starting with "Ba Ba Ba" followed by "Under the Heat" was the best beginning to any album by anyone ever. Still is.

I agree. Now.

What happened was..... we originally sequenced the album to begin with Side Two (Caught, Someone New etc.) and the record company forced us to flip/flop the two sides.

Sooooo .... when we remastered it for CD, we flipped it back to how we originally wanted it, but this caused much confusion and consternation amongst the fans. Additionally, it was a weaker presentation after all, and we realized it almost immediately after re-releasing it but it was too late.

If we ever put it out again, we'll put it back to its original release order. Promise.

Hey Mike, with you guys flipping the two "sides" to change the order, why didn't the powers that be switch things up on the song listing for the sleeve when the inserts were printed?
