  Dodgy lyrics?

I've always been an admirer of Mike's edgy lyrics, but honestly, does anyone have a clue what Tattoo is all about? And does anyone have a view on the most close to the knuckle or iffy lyrics ever produced by the band?

Why not post a line or two here?

Ah, sorry guys. I've just listened to it again for the first time in ages and I know EXACTLY what it is talking about... And I know why I asked the question too, not many bands would venture into this territory.

I take it to be about how a Christians life is not an easy road, Christ suffered and if we are a true follower of Christ we will suffer as well. The perfect life is not coming through without a scratch, its showing your scars, your battle marks. People should know who we belong to. The contrast between the 'perfect little world' of some Christianity and what it really should be.
