77s Still Standing with Matt Nightingale

Some said that it couldn't be happening: that it was just publicity. And the fabulous 77s proved them wrong. Others said “They simply can't keep up this pace. Something's gotta give”. And it did. Before our lads could catch their breath from February's dizzying sessions with Jason Herring (out now - click on STORE for details), Mike, Mark & Bruce have now teamed with new Fools Of The World artist MATT NIGHTINGALE to help create a deeply personal and delightful debut album. Hailing from Redwood City, California, Nightingale delivers Still Standing, an album of remarkable passion and candid personal confession with a hefty dose of pure pop confection thrown in for good measure.

With Mike Roe once again at the helm as producer and guitarist, the unbeatable rhythm section of Mark Harmon and Bruce Spencer commands a colorful new landscape of pop and R&B foundations for Matt's soulful voice, memorable melodies and healing, heartfelt lyrics. If you enjoy artists like Seal or Third Day, a wonderful and worshipful pop experience awaits you here - one that no true 77s fan should be without. Expect a late September release when you click STORE right here on www.77s.com.

Yeah, it was like singin' lead with the 77s! Well, kinda... It was *my* music I was singing. Smile And I don't think anyone could ever replace Doc Love. I think I have some shots of Mike playing mandolin on my site...

Very cool experience for me. So grateful I got to do it. Mike's a great guy - great to work with, great to hang out with.

We have a Roe dealership out this way as well, which is interesting but actually helps Mr. Nightingale not at all.

Oh yeh, I forgot to play up the fact that "Studio W" is the new name for the old Exit Studio, so once again we did it on what many of you would consider 'sacred ground'. Heh heh.... Pleased

  RE: Congrats

Oh my gosh... That is the funniest thing I've ever seen. I found it online, which was very exciting as you can well imagine. My wife cannot understand why I sit at the computer crying. Smile
