  Lisa P. concert recording

Yes indeed! The sound man did a board mix for us, so I'll check it out and if anything's decent we can make it available somehow.

Yeah no shit. There are so many artists I like that are based in Cali and rarely tour outside of it.

So--how did this go (inquiring sticks dwellers want to know)?

  Lisa show

It was fun and sounded pretty good. Lots of Alison Kruass and Gillian Welch-type things, with some Bill Monroe thrown in. My daughter Devon got up and sang harmony on "I'll Fly Away" to the delight of her grandparents.

We got it all down on tape but Lisa snagged it. She's making copies and perhaps Mark will put something from it on the media page so you can hear what it sounded like.

We need to do more of these things. It helped my acoustic guitar chops and Mark's got his sea legs now on his old blonde upright bass.

It sounds like Dad may be better than he was for awhile, if he's getting out!

It would be good to get an intro to Lisa, and it also might be fun to hear the "I'll Fly Away" (although I doubt it would be possible to sort out all of the voices on a clip).

btw--are there any pictures of this floating around?
