no, I think that you are just an F-up!

I can't get into this cd. Sounds more like a chick cd. I need something like "Woody", or "Nobody's Fault"

Get a life. Fun With Sound is incredible, and obviously above your capacity.

No, that'd be Mutt. This is better. Big Grin

I have actually started appreciating Mutt more, but I still have to be in the right mood to pop that one in.

How does it rate on the glockenspiel scale?

Posted by 77 bc on 11-24-2004 at08:41:

to my knowledge, there are no glockenspiel's on FWS. Mutt, however, does have glockenspiel on it.

Posted by carl on 11-24-2004 at08:45:

Cool

Further proof of its innate goodness. Big Grin

I didn't see a theremin listed in the musical devices, but Mark's use of the e-bow sure does conjure up some of those kind of sounds!

I like Mutt and FWS Big Grin

I have found a reason that I am not happy with "Fun With Sound"

Because I am so drawn into listening to it, I have not picked up my own guitar(s) since I have been back from the concert.

Posted by carl on 11-24-2004 at09:40:

Cool

At least it's another reason for the rest of us to BE happy.... Tongue

Are you saying anything not 'hard' is a chick CD?

The spectrum and range of the talent these guys have is
wider than just doing all hard songs.

Posted by 77 bc on 11-24-2004 at09:42:

I think he's just goofball who doesn't know musical art when he hears it!

Posted by j77 on 11-24-2004 at09:52:

I think whoever he is he's just a dick, trying to stir the pot around here.

Fun with sound is no chick CD. It rocks. I love it.

Posted by 77 bc on 11-24-2004 at09:54:

Tell us how you REALLY feel, J!

I don't think this is as much of an actual critique as it is an attempt to imitate Nails' pointy stick commentary.

  On a personal note...

Mark commented to me, at the Roxana venue, about having the same strings on the bass that he bought in Springfield. At first, I felt that I had somehow contributed to the record, but then I felt somewhat slighted that I didn't get mentioned in the credits, as the guy that gave them directions to get to the music store where Mark could buy the strings used to complete the last tour and the making of the record, but hey...maybe next time.
