77s, DA, U2, Larry Norman Vinyl for sale

97 Alternative Christian Music Albums (LP - VINYL)

This is the core of a very, very nice 1970’s-1990’s collection. Most of the albums are in brand new condition, only played a few times. Many are still shrink-wrapped (with only a slit in the side to remove the record.

These are LPs – vinyl. Big art, big liner notes.

The collection will only be sold as a complete set, so please don’t ask for bits and pieces. Some of these albums are quite valuable, but I just don’t have the time or energy to sell it piecemeal.

I will sell it to the highest bidder. Buyer pays for shipping, and I will package and ship it using whatever carrier you choose.

Bid now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4068557436

Wow, that's quite a collection, if you had the time to part that stuff out and sell it individually, some of those LP's would go for a good sum by themselves.

RE: 77s, DA, U2, Larry Norman Vinyl for sale

really? Which ones? I'm so out of it, I don't even know which ones are still valuable...

I'm sure some of the DA stuff is worth a bit, but I should let the DA lovers around here help you with that one.

Maybe on CD, but LPs don't generally generate big bucks on ebay!

Posted by TJ 2.0 on 01-17-2005 at20:04:

Yeah, pull that auction and sell those individually. You will DEFINATELY get more than $150.00. Plus, even though those are some awesome albums, you might have people hesitating to bid at $150, or BIN at $300. But for sure, that Fearful Symmetry alone is worth the price of admission.

Posted by dennis on 01-17-2005 at20:18:

True... you could BIN most of those at around ten bucks each I would think? Confused

Posted by BigDork on 01-17-2005 at21:36:

I took 20 mins and thought about pulling the trigger on this one...

too bad I spent all my money during December.

I don't think vinyl gets that much anymore, but you could make more than $300 if you broke it all up... but like the original post said, who has time for that except dorfy.

hey, that's the ticket. Let dorfy sell them for you and you can give him a percentage of the final price!!! Tongue

... But you could resell it and make a profit (after keeping theones you really really want, of course!

But that's not all. Act today and we'll throw in 5 (five) bonus LPs!! This offer won't last forever, so act now!

Holy guacamole, someone pulled the trigger on it.

Anyone here do it?? If so, I've got a proposition for the winner.........

Posted by Westminster on 01-18-2005 at07:57:

Whew! That was easy! I hope the buyer is able to spread the 77s/DA/LN happiness to collectors trying to finish off their collections. Maybe I'm just gettting old, but I think the albums in that set represented the goldenest years for DA/77s/LN.

Now, I'll have to see how long it takes before I decide to dump my CD collection.... Smile

Posted by jopawil on 01-18-2005 at09:24:

It's nice to know there are others out there with tons of the same stuff. I have most of those albums, but I'm not ready to part with them yet. Congratulations to the buyer. (and the seller)Pleased
