Breathe Deep (The Breath of God)
from the album "Scenic Routes"
(Music and lyrics by Terry Taylor)

Politicians, morticians, Philistines, homophobes
Skinheads, Dead heads, tax evaders, street kids
Alcoholics, workaholics, wise guys, dim wits
Blue collars, white collars, war mongers, peace nicks

Chorus
Breathe deep
Breathe deep the Breath of God
Breathe deep
Breathe deep the Breath of God

Suicidals, rock idols, shut-ins, drop outs
Friendless, homeless, penniless and depressed
Presidents, residents, foreigners and aliens
Dissidents, feminists, xenophobes and chauvinists

Chorus

Evolutionists, creationists, perverts, slum lords
Dead-beats, athletes, Protestants and Catholics
Housewives, neophytes, pro-choice, pro-life
Misogynists, monogamists, philanthropists, blacks and whites

Chorus

Police, obese, lawyers, and government
Sex offenders, tax collectors, war vets, rejects
Atheists, Scientists, racists, sadists
Biographers, photographers, artists, pornographers

Chorus

Gays and lesbians, demagogues and thesbians
The disabled, preachers, doctors and teachers
Meat eaters, wife beaters, judges and jurys
Long hair, no hair, everybody everywhere!

Island Dreams obviously was a big departure for the Dogs. I say they
need to stay in experimental mode but this time venture into what their
respective bands played. Rock. We've seen glimpses on the 1st 3 albums.
I think we all agree that the collaborration of these artists works
best with the alt-folk, Americana, country sound that they are mostly
known for. That's why I would consider a rocking album another
departure.
If they are to do a rocking album, I suggest a Gene tribute with covers
of Adam Again tunes. I've got a recommendation for the
title.........Andrusco Again.
Whaddya think?

I think that idea sucks peawizzle. It's farily apparent from Doc. Loves post that we are getting "Jeff" (Mutt2).

Well, the other part of his statement was, they didn't lose money on Mutt, like they did on the other last couple of albums.

I'm betting there will be Jeff (Mutt2) on the horizon. I'd be surprised if ever see another great new, original music, Lost Dogs disc. Crying

What do you think the announcement about this summer's tour and "surprises up their sleeves" is referring to? Do you think they may have some new ventures in music style coming again from what the announcement said?
